It's a JUGHEAD Birthday

Hi JUGS fans. Just a quick post today to honor our newest "JUGHEAD" (It's ok, that's what she calls us and herself) on her birthday - Elise Durenberger!  Happy birthday girly! Hope it's one of the best ever.

I used the Mojo Sketch from this past week and the colors from CR84FN's challenge for this week.

Happy Birthday Elise - your card is, as they say, in the mail but it won't arrive by your actual birthday so enjoy it when it arrives :-) 

I stamped the pink layer with one of my SU! background stamps for some subtle texture and pattern and used a new SU! embossing folder on the cream layer. It really makes a deep impression - quite stunning IRL. The image and sentiment are from PTI's Round and Round. Added a black doily using one of the new PTI doily dies, some ribbon and pearls and button and twine! Even though the pic doesn't show it too well it is ivory/cream CS I used.

Challenge Crazy!!

Wow I got some time to play and play I did! I have so neglected my dear StampTV friends and challenges so I jumped in on those and, finally I also got to play along with CR84FN this week too. Here are the cards I worked up:

1st - for the February Color Challenge at Stamp TV - a nestie shaped card that swivels open - colors green, yellow plus one neutral. Stamp set Oh Baby bu Gina K Designs.

2nd - The February sketch challenge at StampTV - LOVED this sketch - so fun. Stamp set Spring Florals by Gina K.

3rd - String it up - no ribbon challenge - Stamp set Autumn Beauty by Gina K plus sentiment from Tag Lines.

Finally - I combined this week's Mojo Monday sketch with Mona's CR84FN color challenge - the gray was a bit of a stretch for me but I got there.

Oh Baby!

I had fun playing along with last week's CR84FN Color Challenge brought to us by the extremely talented and very sweet Mona Pendleton so I decided to try it again.  I wanted to make a "gender neutral" baby card and thought these colors would work well.  I combined this week's CR84FN colors with Mojo Monday sketch.

Floral spotlight

Quick post today - I love Mona Pendleton and her new CR84FN color challenges but I have not had a chance to participate with the holidays and subsequent busy month at work. I finally had a chance to create a quick card last night for a gal who happens to love pink! This is a fabulous color set.

Here's my card. My layout didn't work out quite like I imagined it in my mind (that ever happen to you?!?!) so I angled the focal image instead. Stamps are Bold Botanicals and Sensational Sentiments from My Time Made Easy.
