Get Sketchy with JUGS

Hey all,
Just a quick post this week as I'm buried in a few things but it's sketch time with Just Us Girls and Andrea has cooked up a GOOD ONE!

I can't wait to see what you come up with - By the way - the "flower" doesn't have to be a flower - it can be any shape or interpretation that comes to mind... remember the sketch is an inspiration to get you going.

Here's my take on it. I must say a hearty THANK YOU to my friend Hanne. She sent me a few hand made embellishments and I decided this was the perfect sketch to use to capitalize on them. I did the sketch quite literally, right down to the flower stem,  since I was pressed for time.

I inked up one of my fave SU background stamps in chocolate ink then adhered my layers.

Close up of the flower - I think it was cut from PTI's new die - one layer is paper - the next is felt - topped with a button and some of the wonderful baker's twine.

I didn't stamp a sentiment on the inside until I know who this is going to - sometimes I need a lot of room to write my thank yous but I try to do something on the inside when I can.

It's all pretty self-explanatory - great sketch Andrea - be sure to visit the rest of the team (in my sidebar -->) and check out their projects and please stop by our new Featured Designer for November, the talented Cheryl Rowley - she has a dy-no-mite project to share as well!!

Thanks all and have a great weekend!
Hugs n Smiles,

Love the crackled back drop on your card Pam and even though you followed the sketch "literally" it's done to perfection from the inside out!
