And here's my project for this week's challenge.
I decided it would be fun to make a framed page of a couple of highlights from our trip to Germany and Austria over Christmas this past December. It took me a while to get back into the "mode" but I love how it turned out - it will go in my office at work - my office is FILLED with family photos and such and this will be a fun way to keep the memories fresh while others get to see some of our trip as well. I did add a couple of extra photos and did not use the bow - my layout just didn't lend itself to a bow and I would have had a hard time getting it in the frame. It's hard to see in the photo but this is already framed and ready to go - the frame is a simply black edge and a front loading piece of glass that you pop out - insert page - replace glass. I love it.
I made the title by inking up my Headline Alphabet from SU and cutting out each letter with labels 8 nestie. Sponged the edges before I removed it from the die. This was a great trip and I love being able to showcase a small memory from that time.
If you are interested, this is the insert from the frame - I think I'll be buying more of these!

Have a great weekend - I'm taking my son to Vegas for his 21st BD so we're pretty excited about that. (My DH hates Vegas so he's opting out this time LOL) We're also going to see David Copperfield since my son has loved magic since he was about 10. Pam, this will look FABULOUS in a frame! Great color choice for paper and I agree that a bow doesn't go! LOVE the extra pics - especially the one of you looking like you were having so much fun! LOVE how you stamped the letters in the nesties! Overall FAB!

Great layout Pam - Scrapbook pages are right up my alley - just have to find the time since I am back to working full time. Have a safe trip to Vegas.

Fabulous page Pam. Great photos, love how you are going to frame it. I get great 9x9 shadow boxes at Ikea that work great!
What a great way to scrap something meaningful and then enjoy it everyday! Great take on the scrapbooked sketch challenge. ALso thank for the reminder on cutting with a nestability and sponging on a bit of color before removing from the die. I love how you do that.
