Company's Coming - MTME to the Rescue

I hope you have been enjoying all the new items that were released this month for My Time Made Easy. Lauren has done a fabulous job creating versatile and amazing stamp sets and templates as well as cut files and digi papers.

I've got one more Pretty Packaging © set to share with you today. I've had the pleasure of traveling a fair amount and I love to collect the travel size products that they put out for us in our hotel room.  I have some company coming next month and I thought it would be fantastic to make little bath sets for my guests so I made "His" and "Hers" sets to match my bathroom colors.

I used the Card Catch All template to hold the goodies for my houseguests. It's way more than just a box for cards :-)   Since I wanted coordinating sets for "His" and "Hers" and my guest bathroom just happens to be cranberry and navy and creme I started with those colors of CS from Gina K Designs. I pulled out the Amazing Argyle stamp set from MTME and created His and Hers patterns with those colors.

Here you can see the roomy inside. I used the insert from the "His" box to make it "Hers" more contrasting and then I did the opposite with the "Hers" insert.

When it came to cutting out the template pieces I let my Cricut do the work - I resized the pieces to 90% so everything would fit inside just right. Next I made some coordinating labels for the back of the boxes.

This beautiful sentiment comes from MTME set So Sentimental and the solid heart and dotted line came from the Bringing Home Baby set.  I made the other label in the opposite color combo.

I decided to keep "His" box more manly so I used a blue embellishment button instead of the heart.

Next up was to tie some matching ribbon (from my stash) around each box and make a simple tag to welcome my guests. Again, I made one for each box, in the coordinating colors.

I did use the hearts for these cute tags. All of these stamps are from Bringing Home Baby stamp set - versatility to the max!!

The Card Catch All is really roomy - here's a picture of the contents in "Hers".

And of course "His" box has a manly brand of stuff in it!

With the wedding coming up this summer we'll be having lots of house guests. I have LOTS of travel goodies I've collected over time so I may just make a whole bunch of these cute little welcome sets for my guests. When I set these out on my guests' beds with their bath towels, I also include a bottle of water and a few chocolates just like my favorite Bed and Breakfast!

Thanks for stopping by. Be sure to check out the rest of the DT (sidebar -->) to see what inspirations they bring your way today. Have a great week, girls.

Hugs n Smiles,
