MY Time to Create Sketch Challenge (mytimess34)

Happy Saturday everyone. Today we bring you a sketch challenge from the lovely and talented Lauren Meader. Here's the sketch -->
Now doesn't that look like fun?! We sometimes get stuck in a "straight line rut" so let's get a little off beat this week with some fun angles on your card.

Be sure to link up your creation on Mr. Linky (on Lauren's blog) so we can ALL see what you come up with. Also - if you post your card in a gallery be sure to use the keyword mytimess34 and let us know that it's posted somewhere. We don't want to miss your projects.

<-- Here's my card this week. I am so enamored with the new Everyday Button Bits from PTI that I just had to use it again. I also have not had much chance to use my Pink Patterns paper from PTI so those were the components I started with. Have you ever had a card idea in your head and figured it would take about 10 minutes to bring it to life only to get stuck part way through?!? That happened to me this week cause I was stuck on the ribbon and embellishment after I had created all my panels. I finally settled for a button and a thin piece of ribbon to accent the main image. I don't have a supply of thread to use on my buttons but I didn't like them "unfinished" so I added the pearls to the center of each balloon button. Added a little sponging to highlight the focal image.

I had used my cuttlebug embossing folder (Textile) so I could not stamp a sentiment directly on the card front and I just didn't want to add another layer so I decided the sentiment could go INSIDE (LOL) instead.

I couldn't use buttons on the inside (too bulky) so I punched some circles to use for interest instead. I love how versatile this set it. You'll be seeing more of this one!

Here's a close up of the detail on the card front. -->

Meanwhile, Lauren's amazing Design Team has come up with lots of ideas to whet your appetite and rev up your inspiration as well. Please pop over and see what they have come up with then get busy and join us in this week's challenge. (Remember to link up!) Have a great weekend.
