Just a quick post - I got some new goodies today and just had to play a little. First off I got one of the embossing folders from SU! I liked that it embosses only part of the card front - and it was flowers so how could I resist?! Then I finally got my Labels 4 Nesties... I have wanted this set for a while and it's been out of stock in my usual shopping places. It's even prettier than I thought!
I sponged the Spring Moss nestie layer with Vintage Cream (while it was still in the nestie die) for a softer look, then sponged the ivory nestie layer (in the die) with Spring Moss ink. Makes it sorta look like there are 4 layers going on. I stamped the image and sentiment (from Vintage Picnic) colored the tiny flowers with Copics and the image part was done. For the card, I embossed the ivory layer with the new SU! embossing folder THEN I embossed a triangular piece of ivory with Swiss dots for the corner - a snippet of Spring Moss dotted swiss ribbon to cover the seam, and a few buttons for dimension and I was done.
Thanks for looking! Enjoy your weekend. (Remember to come play along with the My Time to Create Sketch Challenge tomorrow, Saturday!!!)

I am so inspired (and enabled) by this gorgeous card! Thank you for sharing. I have the SU emb folder on my list and can't wait to pair it with the CB Swiss Dots which I already have. I haven't delved into Nesties yet but I'm getting close thanks to inspiration like this!
