Happy Thanksgiving

Hi All,
I know I have been MIA again - my daughter was home from Afghanistan for a visit so everything else gets put on the back burner. Meanwhile,  I cannot believe that Thanksgiving is just around the corner - Wishing abundant blessings for each of you.

Ok - so it's a Just Us Girls Saturday and time for a new color challenge. Vicki is our hostess this week and she's got some great traditional holiday colors for us... Red, Green and White.

Now I KNOW these are Christmas holiday colors but I really, really wanted to try a non-holiday card with the colors so my colors are a bit more jewel toned but I used a Cranberry (red),  Avocado (green) and an Ivory (creamy white). Made a Thanksgiving card for my best friend who moved away (sob). Here's my simple card:

The colors are not quite so deep in real life but I actually had to shoot this photo with my phone as my other camera's battery was dead! SORRY

I worked with pattern, texture, layering and a little copic coloring. Simple layout and design but I think she'll like it!

Now pop over ro our amaaaaaaaaazing design team and check out their inspiration. Hope you'll take a few minutes out of this busy holiday week to play along and color with JUGS.
