A Year in Review - Sweet Treats Made Easy

I have two posts today - my other one is for JUGS. Please be sure to check them both. There is BLOG CANDY on the JUGS post!!

I hope you have enjoyed the February release for My Time Made Easy. There have been some amazzzzzzing projects created and shared. I've got one more to share with you today - this is part of our series called Year in Review. Each month we DT gals are revisiting a template from last year.

I was in need of a birthday gift and this time I turned to In a Pinch as my template of choice.

I decorated this sweet template with some pretty digital papers from the set call, Wildflowers! I made a monogram label for the front of the box using the new Monograms Defined set. I turn to this set over and over - it's SO versatile! Added a bow and a prima and my box was almost done.  This template is sized to 85% of the original and it's filled with these sweet treats - Hershey nugget candies which have been wrapped with wildflower labels. (I just printed out a borderless sheet of digital paper onto a sheet of labels instead of paper!)

Now - for the closure - I wanted my friend to be able to re-close the box so I created a "wrap it up" from a pair of flower brads as my closure. EASY! I put the second flower on the BACK of the box so here you are looking at the back of the template.

I made a card to match using a favorite layout of mine that really shows off patterned paper, I think. I used the new Framed Elegance Cut File as my focal point and stamped a sentiment from On Display stamp set. Added a few underlying pearls and a snippet of ribbon and my card was done.

Finally - here is the entire gift set - In a Pinch template packaged up with a LOT (almost a full bag) of Hershey Nugget candies and a sweet card to match.

Please visit the rest of the team to see what yumminess they have created for you. Meanwhile - Stay warm and be safe.

This is the cutest set. I love that paper and your embellishment is gorgeous. I love how you printed the labels -- I never would have thought to do that.

OMGosh, I love the colors! This is just such a pretty set! I was thinking, when I saw your covered candy wrappers, that it would be cool to print the paper on those labels...then I read that's what you did! Cool idea! Very pretty project and your friend will love it!
