Retro Chinese Take Out!!

Hi all - it's another My Time Made Easy release day. You've seen the FABBY new So Fortunate template and stamp set and I hope you are loving them as much as I am.  Today Lauren challenged us to use the So Fortunate template again but with older stamps/papers for a different look.

I have a friend who's into bright, funky colors so I built my little "take out" gift set around the digital paper called Retro from the Flower Fusion set. It's not in my normal color palette choices but it's right up my friend's alley.  I created THREE So Fortunate boxes - in 3 different sizes. The sizes in this set are 75%, 60% and 50%. You can easily cut these by hand with the PDF version but if you have a Cricut it takes about 10 seconds to change the size. Each of the boxes holds a little goodie and the idea I had was to present my friend with a "Chinese Take Out" buffet of gifts complete with fortune cookies and chopsticks :-)

My smallest box (50%) holds a couple of these Godiva Truffles. I used the Floral Fusion digi paper and the Just for You stamp set.

My medium box (60%) holds a Keurig coffee cup perfectly. It's also decorated with Floral Fusion paper and on the front I used the Fancy a Cuppa add on stamp that says "COFFEE COFFEE" all around.

Detail on the medium box - you can see I used my Swiss Dots CB on the top of the box. Added some ribbon and a cute little metal butterfly.

Medium and small boxes from the back view.

My large box (75%) holds two sweet Chamilia charms!! Paper is still Floral Fusion although I ran out of Aqua Mist CS so I changed to the Summer Sunrise. Images are from the Tending the Garden set.

Here's the little (3-1/2" square) card that I made to go with the set. ALso Tending the Garden stamp set plus a purple pearl in the center of the flower.

And here's another look at the set of 3 gift boxes with a matching card. This will be fun to give to my friend because I will set it up with the Asian plate and chopsticks (see my first photo at top).

Be sure to stop and visit the following DT girls who also have some ideas for you as well. Thanks, as always, for your interest in my projects!!
