Snowman Gift Cards

Woo Hoo - I have ONE Christmas gift done! Thanks JustRite! I made this little set of snowman cards for a friend who LOVES snowmen. I packaged them up in a cute little container and I have completed a challenge AND a gift. That totally rocks!!! LOL

Here's my gift set. I used non-traditional Christmas colors for these groovy little guys - (Let me tell you, I was STRONGLY influenced by the 90ยบ + temperatures and just had to go for some bright summery colors).

This little gift box is made from an empty Laughing Cow cheese box. I've seen gals use them and never tried it and just happened to have one in my fridge (ok it wasn't empty yet but the cheese is there for the boys to eat still LOL)

I decorated the top to coordinate with the contents and added some PTI ribbon to the edge of the top and bottom.

I tied on a little satin bow at the back and added a snowflake embellishment.

The inside bottom of the box is decorated, too, for fun! Once you lift all the cards out there's a sweet sentiment in the bottom from JustRite's All Occasion Nested Sentiements set.

I also added a nestie circle to the bottom to cover up the nutritional label ;-).

Here are the cards I made from JustRite's new Groovy Snowmen set. There are four adorable snowmen and borders in the stamp set but I only made three cards because more would not fit in my box. (The fourth one is the one on my box top!)

Each one has the main image popped up on dimensionals. The blossom nestie layer is also popped up from the plain circle.  Then all of that was adhered to a card I cut with my scalloped circle nestie (I left the edge uncut at the fold).  I added a simple bow along the card edge to finish it off. By the way - I did not make envelopes to go with these as I envisioned them being tucked into a gift bag - BUT it would be easy enough to wrap these up with a square envie)

And here's a shot of each one individually. You can see the little silver balls I added for accents where appropriate. I did not stamp the insides with sentiments because I don't know if my friend will use them as Christmas cards or as holiday Thank you cards or just as winter note cards... Since I used non-traditional Christmas colors she can use these cards in any of those ways. :-)

That's all for now - thanks for for stopping by - hope you like my GROOVY snowmen! I love these new images. I foresee lots of snowmen in my stamping future!! :-)

Have a great week girls.
Hugs n smiles,

O Pam, what a GORGEOUS idea!!!!!!! I have loads of those containers and I always throw them away. I will start collecting them!
I love the colors, too. It is not mandatory that christmas cards have to be in red, green and gold.
Best wishes from Germany!

ABSOLUTELY cute for sure. I HATE these cheeses - but the box looks so cute I might have to force my DGS to eat some of them just to get the box. =0)

Pam,
Congrats on winning over at Justrite stamps.
I don't have any of these stamps yet, but with you and Selma making such beautiful creations, I think I will be branching out a bit.
