Easter Bunny Fun - Just Us Girls #25

Woo Hoo - Happy Saturday girls. It's COLOR CHALLENGE time with Just Us Girls

Lisa is our hostess this week and she has a lovely spring palette to tickle your mojo. You challenge is to use light blue, light yellow, light green and light brown. You will note that she didn't specify colors from any particular company so feel free to choose any that fit those parameters.

Here's my card this week:

I used my brand new Spring Assortment papers from Gina K Designs - love them. They are lovely springy colors. I also couldn't resist using a bunny of some sort so I dug out this stamp - I couldn't remember where I got it until I looked at the stamp - it's from a store in Santa Barbara, California called StampaBarbara. It's dated 1986 - YES girls that's how long I've been stampin, albeit not without a long break in there while the kids were growing up.

I thought I would make a sweet Easter card. I used Mercy's Tuesday Sketch MTSC62.  It's a little hard to see in the photo but I embossed the green and blue layers with different embossing folders - cut the circle and the scalloped circle with my Nesties. I colored that sweet image with copics and added Crystal Effects to the eggs so they are all shiny. I love how the yellow scalloped layer almost looks like the sun shining behind my bunny and the blue and green layers look like grass and sky. (didn't plan that - that's just the layering I put together LOL) My sentiment is also from Gina K - the new Spring Florals set. I added a little satin yellow ribbon and bow, a Prima rose and a few corner pearls and I was fini!

Now I'd love to see what YOU come up with this week - it does NOT have to be Easter themed at all - just follow the color palette and link up your creation with our new Inlinkz tool. We're trying something new with thumbnails this week.  Pop over to the rest of the JUGS design team (in my sidebar -->) and leave a little love. Please be sure to visit our Featured Designer, Stephanie Kraft, for some mojolicious eye candy (I've seen her sample and you'll love it!)

Have a great weekend.
Hugz n smiles.
