Today's challenge is a technique challenge with a twist and it's one that you will all be able to do. Tracey is our hostess this week - you need to use DRY EMBOSSING somewhere on your card. SO get our your Cuttlebug, Big Shot, Wizard etc. OR your light box and do some dry embossing. Now we said "with a twist" - the twist is to make your card a BIRTHDAY card. Yea, Dana - sorry girl we changed it up on you so we could all wish you a happy birthday!! (We told Dana the twist was to make a thankful card!)
Here's my card - details on how I did the embossing to follow.
And here's the detail shot of the cupcake and icing with "sugar sprinkles" (aka glitter.)
Once you have made your card, then enter up your project on our Mr. Linky on the Just Us Girls site. Remember you must provide a DIRECT LINK to your project - not just a link to your blog or gallery. Give us your best work - you'll have a chance to be our top pick stamper called "Chic of the Week" and a special badge to wear on your blog. Can't wait to see what you emboss for us. Be sure to hop over to Dana's blog (see list below) and wish her a happy birthday :-)
Here are the other Design Team blogs - I'm sure you'll get lots of inspiration here as well.

Beautiful card, I'm gonna play!
I have been anxiously waiting to see this card. How beautiful. I love the way you attached the bow. Thanks for linking back to my tutorial. I MUST enter a card, right!
Fabulous Pam! LOVE the glitter!!!
This is GORGEOUS, Pam! I have no idea what you are talking about with that double embossing, so I'll have to check out Selma's tutorial, but I LOVE how you made your oval around the cupcake almost glow!
Your cupcake looks scrumptious with that sparkly icing, and your pretty bow is the perfect touch!
So very pretty Pam! You did an AWESOME job with ALL the embossing! Thanks for sharing the link to Selma's tutorial :) You made her proud I am sure! I love the shimmery frosting & cherry on top of your beautiful cupcake! Looks YUMMY :) Dana will showcase this card for sure!
Hey love this challenge! Coincidentally, it was for the TSG challenge too and I just posted a card for that!! LOL Can I use it????
Pam! You sweetie pie you! You all tricked me and I LOVE that! ;)
What an amazing card chock full of embossing ideas. I will totally have to check out Selma's tutorial. I love how you sponged color onto your backdrop but used the nestie as a mask...I always forget to use them that way. And your image is so totally me...I love a cute cupcake stamp and glitter! You know me well, my friend.
Thanks so much for your kindness and thoughtful birthday wishes. I am definitely QUEEN for a day!
Fabulous card Pam, I love the colors and sparkly frosting. I hope to have time to play again this week.
Hugs,
Brenda

Thank you so much Pam, for your detail and sweet comment on my blog. I really appreciate that.
