Holiday Blog Hop with PaperTrey

It is the 25th of the month - my oh my where is time going - BUT that means it's time for BLOG HOP with Papertrey! This month's theme was to show our holiday "stuff". LOL I am NOT in the mood for the holidays yet (partly because we won't be home for them this year) but I kind of HAD to get in the mood for hoppin!

I decided to work with one of Lauren's newest templates, Around Town Tote. I was kind of bummed when I planned this out because my PTI order had not arrived. I wanted to use the new Rustic Snowflakes paper on this template but since it wasn't here I pulled out my SU! holiday paper from last year (Dashing) and worked with that on my template instead. It's still super cute paper.

I got my template done, my ribbon bow made then took a break. Well - good news - my PTI order arrived late in the day yesterday so I was able to use my new 2009 Holiday Tags to finish up my ensemble and also make a small 3x3 gift card to go with the box. I added some brand new pearls in a perfectly matching crimson and moss for that "touch of class". The template is very generously sized! It can hold a paperback book, or a CD, or a full sized bottle of lotion etc. - perfect for gift giving.

Here's my gift bag idea I'll be using for holiday gift this year.

Thanks for looking! I am "more in the mood now" - thanks PTI. :-)

Hi Pam! Well, you may not be in the mood for the Christmas holiday, but your project definitely looks festive and full of Christmas cheer! I've started working on this years tags and am happy to say, I even have tags left over from last year! Unfortunately, I have not been able to finish up those new tags as of yet, so I'm not in the hop, but do plan on visiting other hoppers for some of that great mojo and inspiration to get me singing some carols. Once the music starts playing in my head, then there'll be no stopping me! :>

I love all that detail on your gift bag, the pearly dots on all those big poke-a-dots, the beautifully tied bow with the garland sprigs & the cute little tree on that scalloped circle! I am picking my jaw off the floor! You are so lucky to have received your package yesterday!!! Lauren will be so proud of how you showcased her template! I'll have to add that template to my wish list! Thanks for all this amazing inspiration & for enabling me! :) See you on the hop!!! :) TFS
