My Time to Create Template Challenge! MTTC04

Hi everyone! It's Saturday and you know what that means - it's time for one of Lauren Meader's My Time to Create challenges. I am hosting the challenge this week for Lauren since she's getting ready for her husband's surgery on Monday - Lauren we wish him (and you) all the best... Our thoughts will be with you.
This week we have another template challenge for you.

Ok - so here's the scoop. Use the colors and this image as your inspiration then create something from any one of Lauren's My Timeless Templates of your choice. Remember there are two FREE TEMPLATES so anyone can play along. (You must agree to the terms of use before you can get to the page with the free templates on it.) No excuses :-)

Now - once you create your project come back and link it here to Mr. Linky. If you post it in an online gallery leave me a comment as to where it is and use keyword MTTC04 so we can all find it.

I really, really encourage you to try one of the templates - it is such a FANTASTIC way to package up even the smallest of gifts and make them really special. Need party or shower favors? Try a template. You won't be disappointed.

On to my project.

By now you know I LOVE these templates - once I started making them I was hooked. It was easy for me to fall in love with one of Lauren's newest templates this month called Pretty Petal Pocket.
<-- Here is my creation for this week. I made the standard sized petal pocket but there is a mini or petite one also included with your template that you can make - it is just adorable. I chose Spring Rain, Spring Moss and white as my paper colors (all PTI). I used SU! Bashful Blue ink for the flowers and PTI Smokey Charcoal ink for the leaves. I used stamps from Gina K Designs - the dandelion is from Many Wishes, the flowers and leaves are from Tropical Flowers. The button centers are from PTI's vintage button collection.

After I snapped the first photo I trimmed up the excess ribbon and I added a PTI Spring Rain large button to finish off the center of the ribbon bow. This is the view from the top peeking down inside the pocket. Mine is filled with shredded paper and is all ready for me to tuck a special little gift inside. This template is SO, SO, SO cute made up!

For a final touch I added one of PTI's Sheer Blossoms flowers (I ran it through my Cuttlebug first). Then I added a paper flower of my own and a button to the center for a bit of dimension.

I had so much fun making this - I can't wait to give it as a gift.

Now - scoot on over to the Design Team's blogs - See the sneak peeks? Doesn't it look like fun? I am listing all of them here for you - it's worth looking at each of their fabulous blogs for some great inspiration.

Very beautiful Pam! I just got that template and I can't wait to use it. I tried linking my project but it's my first time using Mr. Linky so I'm not sure it worked. So I'll link it here.

Wow Pam! This is amazing! It reminds me of a flower girl's basket for a wedding which is funny since don't you have a wedding coming up in your family? I have a family wedding coming too and my daughters will be flower girls so I have flower girls on the brain I suppose but SERIOUSLY, your basket is fit for a princess! Gorgeous!
