You may have seen this card in the StampTV gallery or during the StampTV release party but I had a blast playing with Theresa Momber's new Happy Camper set offered up by Gina K Designs. As soon as I saw this set I "saw" a sunset type scene in my mind. Yes, it's fashioned after a camping trip or two that I experienced. I love how the sky takes on purple hues as the sun goes down and that was what I was after. The tent looks just like mine :-) I sponged the sky and grassy field and used copics for the rest.I need to w
ork on the whole fire effect. I did add some "sparkle" to the fire to try and make it a bit more realistic. You can see in this close up.
Finally, I created a mini scene inside to keep with the feel of the card. I have a special person in mind for this card. This new set by Theresa will be PERFECT for cards with an outdoor theme.
