My Time Color Challenge 02

Time for another challenge from Lauren Meader. This week it's a COLOR challenge - and I do mean challenge! The challenge is to work with the 6 colors in the color palette above. At first I thought I'd just skip this challenge LOL - partly because I'm super busy and partly because I didn't know if I could come up with something. However, I pulled out the 6 colors of papers (at least my take on what I thought the colors are) and began to mull. One of my favorite Papertrey sets is the Women of Life by the amazing Melissa Bickford. So I began to ink and stamp and here's what I came up with....

I'm not exactly sure which colors Lauren had in mind because depending on whether I looked at it on my computer screen OR printed I got slightly different results. So the colors I worked with were: Raspberry Fizz, Melon Berry, Summer Sunrise, Tempting Turquoise, Ripe Avocado and White. All of the papers and inks are PTI except the turquoise which is SU! I stamped inside each of the flowers on the BG and used copics to add a touch of color to the inside of floral images on the BG. Happened to have the perfect prima flowers to match with a little bit of bling and some Ripe Avocado twill for a touch of ribbon.

Stamped a sentiment on the front then I used the same colors and stamps on the inside and envelope to make a cheery birthday card.

Now it's your turn - Be sure to link your creation to Mr. Linky and also hop on over to each of the other Design Team members and see what THEY chose to do with the color challenge. Do be sure to play along so we can see what YOU create.

One of my favourite sets is Women of Life too, and I love the way you coloured in the little swirls of the flower petals. The layered primas are also a perfect addition to this card.
