April Blog Hop

Wow do I have some Timeless Template projects to share with you - SCROLL ALL THE WAY DOWN *wink* so you don't miss them all (5 total). This month's Blog Hop assignment was perfect since I decided to put some of the templates to work for me as I packaged up some gifts for Administrative Assistant's week. I do not have my own dedicated assistant but have several gals who do various tasks for me. I like to "appreciate" each of them.

First off, featuring Filed With Flair is a gift set of 12 cards. This gal's favorite colors are pink and blue so I started from there but added in a little yellow and green from the colors of the paper I used to mat the box with. The collection of cards have a variety of sentiments including Birthday, Thank You, Get Well, Just Because, and Just a Note to Say... I hope my special lady will be able to use these cards for some of her upcoming events.

Next is a gift set using From the Desk Of. I removed the liner, lined the inside of the box with the smaller matching printed paper and made a simple gift box to hold some hand scrub and hand lotions for my assistant who is ALWAYS borrowing lotion from me - every time she comes in my office. (It is great cause it reminds me to lotion up too.) Although the products IN the box don't match the color of the box, the box was designed with my friend's stamp room colors in mind - hopefully she can use the box for markers, pens, tweezers etc. on her stamp desk after she unloads the lotions. The new Green Tea Leaves paper is fabulous!

Nichole's blog on creating custom card sets was the inspiration for the next project. You can see Nichole's post here. It features the Filed with Flair template and a sentiment folder that contains labels so the recipient can make the decision for the sentiment right before sending. I LOVED this idea. Made a set of simple but customizable monogrammed note cards using Simply Stationery and custom sentiments. This is actually a birthday gift for someone coming up real soon. I posted the close up of the inside of the sentiments folder - if you don't want to provide stamps you could include a set of return address labels in the middle section if you prefer.

Captured Card Case was the template I chose to box up this set of custom cards for one of my assistants. Each card in the set is unique and I got to use some of the fab PTI buttons, too. This finished box just FEELS solid and professional when you hold it. I decorated the inside of the lid too so it's pretty when the box is open also. I used some SU Designer Paper, Old Olive and Taken with Teal paper and sentiments from PTI's anniversary set, Everyday Classics - just love the "Absolutely Fabulous" sentiment and flourish to "pillow" them. Bright and cheerful which fits this gal to a "T".

Lastly - these cute little Purse-onality gift boxes. (each one hold a small bottle of Bath & Body lotion - perfect fit!) I used them for Administrative Assistant's week. I have another post about these if you want more details. They were a BIG hit - all the girls loved their template gifts. Gosh I am SO in love with all of Lauren's Timeless Templates. It takes a little time to assemble them (at least the first time) but the final product just makes ANY gift so much more special. I give lots of card sets (no surprise) and to have a special way to package them makes it great but it was also fun to use the templates to package NON card gifts too.

Thanks for stopping - hope I didn't bore you with too many projects. I 've been a busy bee :-)
Hugs n smiles.
