90th Birthday

One of my good friend's moms is celebrating her 90th birthday this weekend so I wanted to make a card for her. I've been ignoring my Copics and my SU! stamps lately so I pulled out this Morning Glory set and my Copics and set to work. I wanted to add a lot of dimension and detail and was aiming to give Hazel a large bouquet of flowers...

I used my Oval nesties and Cuttlebugged the plain oval with the dotted swiss embossing folder. CS is PTI's lemon tart and SU whisper white and the blue DP is Gina K's new (and FREE!!!) Jersey Shore digital paper - that was the inspiration for the colors I chose for the morning glory flowers. Here's a snap of the copic colors I used.

When the flowers were colored and some were cut out and it was all put together I added the "90" to the bottom right as my final accent. It's not my favorite part of the card but I wasn't sure what else would work... I did think about leaving the front just flowers with NO sentiment at all but I was trying to get a 90 on there somewhere. Any suggestions on how I could have done it better?

Finally, here's the inside plus the envie - I love to decorate the envies if I can - just an extra touch. Happy Birthday Hazel! You are MY inspiration.
Thanks for looking :)
