Ok so this was supposed to be for the Sketch Challenge on Stamp TV. I started out with the tulips laying on their side for the sketch - but then I edge punched the mat, and that was where the ribbon was going to go - but then I added a ribbon to the flowers - like a bouquet - then I realized it didn't look like the sketch at all LOL. But I liked how the card turned out - serendipity.
I really wanted to complete this sketch but as I look over my recent work it's all flowers - especially when I am learning to color - so I decided to try Gina K's Sweetest Blessings set and her Sweet as Sugar digital paper to make a card that really FIT the challenge and this is what I came up with.
I added Crystal Effects to the cherry, Liquid Applique to the frosting and some clear glaze sparkle pen to add a bit of shine to the cupcake.
Thanks for stopping by! :-)

Wonderful cards, I love the tulips, but then they are one of my favorite flowers. However you did an outstanding job in it. TFS
Wow, I just scrolled through your blog and you have amazing projects!
Love the tulip card...really quite nice! And that cupcake sentiment is so cute! :>
Pam, these are adorable! The tulips are so pretty but the cupcake one is wicked!
Hi Pam: I got your blog from Stamp TV blog list (I'm there too) and thought I'd drop in. WOW! Your work is gorgeous!
I live in IL too - far west suburbs - Sandwich, IL. Question for you: How did you get the "I'm a member of Stamp TV" logo? I'd love one.
Anyway, I'm looking forward to more of your beautiful cards!
I really like the way your tulips card turned out even though it didn't look like the sketch. Its a card u vould give to anyone on any ocassion by just changing the sentiment.
